Evergreen Cemetery by ThruTheAshes Evergreen Cemetery by ThruTheAshes
Model: :iconkmetal1:

Taken at the historical Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado.

This image was possible by setting the camera Color Balance to Tungsten and using CTO gel on an off-camera 580EX II flash to balance the model's skin tone. A Honl Speed Grid was also used to control light spill by keeping the CTO light on the model.

Photoshop was only used to boost Color Saturation, Dodge & Burn, Crop, and resize image for web.

TY TY

This was all done in camera with basic understanding of your camera's color balance and using gels.

Very cool. I am soooo not a photographer so my knowledge of cameras ends at the point-and-shoot stage.

For someone who really doesn't use cameras, I'm quite impressed with this pic!

Wonderful work, I really like the contrast between the red dress against the dominantly blue background. It's very eye-catching. Great work!
